New to Yoga?
How
to Get Started at Camarillo Yoga! |
|
 |
|
|
|
Here's what to do: |
-
It's good to
start at the beginning...in one of our Yoga 1-2 classes. Click here to check our schedule and
see which day and time is right for you. If you are an older adult,
try our Seniors 70++ classes. If you have a physical challenge that requires
personal attention, one-on-one classes are available with Audrey.
Call (805) 484-8810 for more information.
-
If you live in Ventura County, your
first class is free!
-
No need to register or
sign-up in advance (except for Baby & Kids Yoga). Just eat lightly up to three hours before class,
arrive in exercise-type clothing, and let the instructor know you are a
new student. You'll sign a short new student registration form, then
pick up one of our mats and use our yoga props. No need to bring
anything...we have water and tea, too! Please let the instructor
know if you have any physical challenges or conditions, so your practice
can be modified accordingly.
-
Remember: If you
went to your first piano lesson, you probably wouldn't play Mozart
immediately. Any physical practice requires patience and
persistence. In yoga class, the breathing and relaxation will help
you feel better and more peaceful right away. Regular, consistent
practice will help you feel connected to your body and movements-
stronger, lighter, more balanced physically and emotionally.
-
Our instructors and
students are very welcoming...don't wait! Come for your first yoga
class today!

NOTE:
Please do not enter the
studio until you are sure the previous class has finished. If you are
late, please wait until after the beginning meditation to enter the yoga
room. |
