Support Group Meeting Details

When: Tuesdays, 3:15 – 4:30  PM

Expectant Mamas and Brand New Nursing moms encouraged to join us (see below)
Where: Camarillo Yoga Center ($5 donation appreciated)
  No Pre-registration required. Drop-ins welcome!

This a free, drop-in, ongoing support group, designed for mothers of baby’s first year.

Every experience is valued and respected – whether you breastfeed, pump, supplement or are done breastfeeding – your first or fifth baby. We’ll nurture ourselves with kindness and support, while learning how to best connect with your baby in a fun, sweet manner.

Brand new mamas especially welcome. But, please provide off site childcare for your experienced toddlers and preschoolers.

This free workshop is for expecting and early postpartum mamas to join together with those who are currently nursing.

Bring your babies, and we’ll share our insights, support and encouragement. Let’s pay it forward with a warm welcome to Motherhood.

About Pamela Klieman, CAPPA Postpartum Doula

Pamm is a certified CAPPA (Childbirth and Postpartum Professional Association) Postpartum Doula, with additional certifications in Lactation Education and Consulting (CLEC) and Infant Massage. She has  graduate and post graduate studies in Pre & Perinatal Psychology.

As an activist in the Ventura County birth community, Pamm initiated many of the most progressive practices in hospital settings today, providing over a 1000 hours of birth education, labor and postpartum support for friends, family, community members, and military families of the Naval Base Ventura County (NBVC). Her efforts at NBVC reenergized the Navy’s New Parent Support Program, and earned her national recognition for marketing strategies and innovative program development.

Pamm continues her quest to share her expertise on postpartum, newborn communication, baby care, and breast, bottle and feeding and more, empowering new mothers and their families to find their groove and live it.
