You Are What You Digest
Developing a Personal Ayurvedic Practice
4 Week Series
Wednesdays, 12 – 2 PM
April 25 – May 16
With Rana Haddadin M.S.
Ayurvedic practitioner and chef
Series Fee: $130 ($120 CYC Members)

Come learn how to apply the very practical principles of Ayurveda to bring more balance and harmony to your body and life.

Ayurveda is a healing art and science based on a 5,000 year old system of medicine. It is one of the world’s most sophisticated and powerful mind-body health systems.

The science of Ayurveda is based on the principle that everything is connected, and that by addressing the root problems caused by weak digestion and lack of proper nutrition, we can get out of our body’s way and allow it to heal and thrive, as nature intended.

During this class series you will build the ability to draw your own individual body map to take yourself back to a state of balance.

You will develop an understanding of:

  • Your physical and psychological tendencies in an informed yet intuitive way.
  • Your body’s language and what it’s trying to communicate to you.
  • The course of disease and how you can prevent it from advancing or reverse it
  • How Ayurveda can be applied to all areas of your personal wellness.
  • Ease several bodily discomforts using spices and herbs from your kitchen.
  • Align your circadian rhythm with nature.
  • What to eat and drink for your own body, when to eat, and how to eat
